I so gotta quit failing, it's really really bugging me

So Saturday I tried to get back on track and of course have failed since.

I did a pretty good workout in the morning.  I did 10 minutes on the elliptical for a warm up then did a bunch of weight lifting with the 10lb weights.  For a few of the exercises I had to use the 8lbs the second time around but at least I was able to do more reps.  Although now I've been reading it's better to do as little as 5 reps with a higher weight than more reps with a lighter one.  I have no worries about bulking up so I'll definitely stick with 10lbers until they become too easy.  After the lifting I got back on the elliptical for another 10 minutes for a cool down.

I of course was very sore on Sunday and didn't do anything.  But yesterday I was almost back to normal, very little soreness, and I didn't do jack shit.  Not even the elliptical.  So today I have to do something.  Maybe the weights again.  If I do those I'm more apt to get HDT to do a workout with me and also encourage me to do more and not quit.  When I do weights by myself I tend to quit sooner and not do as many rounds.  I only did two rounds on Saturday when normally with HDT I'd be doing three.

And if he won't do anything with me then I'll just make myself get on the elliptical at the very least.  And unless he's able to convince me to eat something else (which he's usually really good at doing) I plan on us having turkey, asparagus and potatoes for dinner.  Now that's a good dinner.
